At approximately 6:50 p.m. on Monday, May 25, 2026, police were called to a business on the 1500 block of 11th Avenue for a report of a robbery. Investigation determined two suspects entered the store, waited inside for approximately 40 minutes and then stole merchandise from behind the counter. When an employee confronted the suspects, one of them punched the employee and threatened them. The suspects then fled the business.
Following a short search of the area, officers located two individuals matching the description of the suspects in an alley in the 1800 block of St. John Street. The two suspects were arrested without incident.
As a result of this investigation, two 15 year-old males, who cannot be named in keeping with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, are jointly charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344(1)b]
Both youth made their first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Youth Court today, Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
