A 34 year-old male is facing charges following a robbery investigation.
On May 30, 2026 at approximately 5:00 a.m., police were called to a business in the 1900 block of Rupert Street for report of a robbery. The caller stated three individuals had arrived at the location armed with an axe and a knife. They threatened the victim, stole keys to a rental vehicle, cash, and a cell phone before leaving the area in the rental vehicle.
Investigation determined the suspects later returned to the location, retrieved a second vehicle and drove away. At approximately 4:00 p.m. that same day, officers with the Criminal Investigations Unit located the second vehicle at a residence in the 800 block of Elphinstone Street. Two individuals were arrested – one in relation to the robbery, and another on an outstanding warrant.
