On Saturday, May 9, 2026, at approximately 10:20 a.m., police were dispatched to a residence in the 1700 block of St. John Street for a report of a robbery.
Officers arrived on scene and located the victim. Investigation determined the victim, an adult male, was picked up from a business in the 1800 block of Saskatchewan Drive by two female suspects. The suspects were known to the victim. The group drove to a residence on the 1700 block of St. John Street. Before exiting the vehicle, the victim placed approximately $5,000 inside the centre console. The three then went into the residence. A short time later, two male suspects confronted the victim, demanded money and threatened violence if he attempted to leave.
Following the confrontation, the victim returned to the vehicle and discovered the driver-side window had been smashed and the cash stolen.
Through the course of the investigation, police identified four suspects believed to be involved in the incident. On May 11, 2026, a male and female suspect were arrested without incident. On May 13, 2026, a second female suspect was located and arrested.
On May 23, 2026, investigators, with the assistance of the Aerial Support Unit arrested a fourth suspect following a traffic stop.
As a result of this investigation, 24 year-old Shay-Lynn GEORGE is charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)]; and
- Forcible Confinement [CC 279(2)].
GEORGE made her first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on May 14, 2026.
Thirty-six year-old Kyle HOLMES is charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)]; and
- Forcible Confinement [CC 279(2)].
HOLMES made his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court today, May 25, 2026.
Twenty-nine year-old Victoria KOPPERUD is charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)]; and
- Forcible Confinement [CC 279(2)].
KOPPERUD made her first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on May 14, 2026.
Twenty-eight year-old Lane TALLENTIRE is charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)];
- Forcible Confinement [CC 279(2)]; and
- Fail to Comply with Condition of a Release Order [CC 145(5)(A)].
TALLENTIRE made his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on May 15, 2026.
