The Regina Police Service are requesting assistance from the public in locating a 29 year-old male, wanted for homicide which occurred on June 29, 2024 on the 1900 block of McIntyre Street.
Police and EMS were dispatched to a call for service for a 25 year-old male who had sustained apparent gunshot wounds shortly after 10:15 p.m. on June 29, 2024. Despite attempts at life-saving measures by police and EMS the male was deceased. Officers secured the immediate area and requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification units, as well as the Coroner.
As a result of investigation into this incident, a Canada-wide Warrant has been issued for the arrest of 29 year-old Skyler OCHUSCHAYOO, of Regina.
OCHUSCHAYOO is facing charges of:
- First Degree Murder [CC 235(1)];
- Unlawfully At Large [CC 145(1)]; and
- Possess Firearm/Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order [CC 117.01(1)].
