A 37 year-old male is facing charges following a weapons-related incident involving a machete.
At approximately 4:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Angus Street following a report of a weapons offence. Upon arrival, officers located an injured male who reported that the suspect attempted to steal his bicycle before assaulting him. EMS transported the victim to hospital for, what appeared to be, significant but non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers subsequently located the suspect at a nearby residence and took him into custody without incident. Following the arrest, officers executed a search of the residence and seized a machete believed to be connected to the incident.
As a result of this investigation, 37 year-old Dylan SHEEPSKIN is charged with the following:
- Aggravated Assault [CC 268(1)]; and
- Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)].
SHEEPSKIN made his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court this morning (July 27, 2026).
