The Regina Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance as they continue to investigate an assault with a weapon that occurred at approximately 7:00 a.m. on June 26, 2026, in the 1800 block of St. John Street.
Police were patrolling in the area when they observed an altercation involving two females. Officers stopped the patrol car and began to approach the two when one of the females ran from the scene. The second female remained on scene. Officers attended to her providing first aid as it appeared as though she had been stabbed. EMS transported the injured female to hospital for treatment of what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
Despite searching the area, the female suspect that fled the scene has not yet been located.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist investigators is asked to call 306-777-6500 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
