A 43 year-old male is facing a charge of Arson following a fire at a Regina condominium complex.
On February 27, 2026, at approximately 5:45 p.m., the Regina Police Service assisted Regina Fire and Protective Services (RFPS) in responding to a report of a fire at a condo complex in the 300 block of Angus Street. Upon arrival, firefighters observed one unit fully engulfed in flames.
An investigation by RFPS determined that the fire was not accidental.
The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with RFPS, continued the investigation. Officers identified the person responsible for starting the fire in a manner that demonstrated a reckless disregard for human life. As a result of this investigation,
Forty-three year-old Mark LEVESQUE is charged with:
- Arson with Disregard for Human Life [CC 433(A)].
LEVESQUE made his first appearance on this charge in Regina Provincial Court on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
