On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at approximately 6:10 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of a weapons offence in the 1800 block of Toronto Street. The complainant reported being threatened with a weapon and told to hand over his bag.
Officers obtained a suspect description and quickly located a matching male in the 1200 block of 11th Avenue. The male was arrested without incident at approximately 6:45 p.m. As a result of this investigation,
Thirty-four year-old Michael PASSMORE, is charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)];
- 2 x Fail to Comply with Probation Order [CC 733.1(1)]; and
- Uttering Threats [CC 264.1(1)(A)].
PASSMORE made his first appearance on this charge in Regina Provincial Court this morning on April 8, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.
