On Sunday, June 29, 2025, at approximately 12:10 p.m., Police were dispatched to the 2900 block of Dewdney Avenue for the report of a weapons offence involving bear spray. Information received indicated that a female suspect had threatened the victim with a knife and bear sprayed them. A short time later, police received a second call for service reporting that the suspect had bear sprayed another victim in the 1900 block of Lorne Street.
Police arrived on scene and located the suspect, who was arrested without incident. A search subsequent to the arrest revealed a canister of bear spray and a knife.
As a result of this investigation, 22 year-old Jazzmin DUBOIS is charged with:
- Assault with a Weapon [CC267(A)]; and
- Possession of a Weapon [CC 88].
The accused made their first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court this morning, June 30, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.
