A 39 year-old male is facing several charges after investigation into two recent sexual assaults.
On Friday, April 11, 2025, police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Sandra Schmirler Way for the report of an injured person. Police arrived and located an injured adult female, and learned that she had been the victim of a sexual assault.
On Saturday, May 3, 2025, police were dispatched to the same area, where it was reported that a female had been robbed and sexually assaulted. Police arrived and attended to the victim.
Both victims reported they were in the North Central area when they entered a white pick-up truck. They were then driven to an area west of Lewvan Drive on 13th Avenue where they were assaulted.
On Thursday, May 8, 2025, police located and arrested a 39 year-old male suspect.
Thirty-nine year-old Christopher Adam SEITZ of Lumsden, SK is charged with:
- Aggravated Sexual Assault [CC 273];
- Sexual Assault by Choking, Suffocating or Strangling [CC 272(1)(C.1)];
- Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)]; and
- Sexual Assault [CC 271];
SEITZ made his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on Friday, May 9, 2025.
