The 2024 numbers are in, and it was another successful year for Regina Crime Stoppers, with tips surpassing last year’s totals. A total of 832 tips were received in 2024 thanks to anonymous information from community members.
Tips were not the only category that increased in 2024. The year also saw a significant increase in recovered property and the amount of arrests and charges laid as a result of the tips that came in.
2024 Statistical Highlights by Crime Type:
- 22% Drug-related crimes
- 17% Property-related crimes (theft, mischief, break and enter, etc.)
- 7% Wanted criminals
- 6% Traffic-related (impaired driving, driving without a license, etc.)
- 5% Violent crimes (murder, assaults, etc.)
- 5% Weapons-related offences
- 38% Other

The Crime Stoppers Board would like to remind those who submit tips to follow up to see if they are eligible for a reward. In 2024, 30 rewards were approved, totaling $12,930. However, only nine of those rewards were paid out, leaving over $10,000 of the reward money unclaimed. Tipsters may call the 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) line, or they can check the status of their tip online at P3TIPS.com.
