Two people have been charged following an investigation into the death of 19 year-old Jason MARTIN, of Regina.
On Saturday, June 1, 2024, at approximately 6:30 a.m., police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Reynolds Street for the report of an injured male. EMS arrived and transported the male to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, determined the death to be a homicide, Regina’s second of 2024.
Investigation led to two males, ages 29 and 23, who were arrested on Thursday, November 14, 2024 and subsequently charged with the offence.
Twenty-nine year-old Tyler Blue WORME, and 23 year-old Talon Lee WORME, both of Regina, are jointly charged with:
- Second Degree Murder [CC 235(1)].
The accused made their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court this morning, Friday, November 15, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.
