The Regina Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with information regarding the murder of an adult male, which was the subject of a previous news release.
On Saturday, June 1, 2023, at approximately 6:30 a.m., police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Reynolds Street for the report of an injured male. EMS arrived and transported the male to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, determined this death to be a homicide, and police began investigation into the second homicide in Regina in 2024. The deceased was identified and next of kin were notified.
The deceased person in this incident is 19 year-old Jason MARTIN, of Regina.
