At approximately 5:30 a.m., on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 police received a report of a seriously injured female in the 1400 Block of Argyle Street. This occurrence was the subject of a previous news release.
When they arrived, officers located the victim laying on the ground suffering from, what appeared to be, gunshot wound(s). Officers provided first aid until EMS arrived and transported the victim to hospital. Early this morning, (Friday, December 6, 2024), the victim succumbed to her injuries.
This death is being treated as a homicide and the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, is continuing the investigation.
Investigators are asking residents and businesses, within the areas in the accompanying image, to contact police if they have any video surveillance of the area between the evening of December 2, 2024 and the early morning hours of December 3, 2024.
