On the morning of Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at approximately 8:15 a.m. police were dispatched to the 3800 block of Dewdney Avenue for the report of a robbery. Information received indicated the victim had been threatened with a weapon, kidnapped, and had items stolen.
On November 8, 2024, police arrested a 28 year-old female, who was confirmed to be one of the suspects.
Twenty-eight year-old Kaylee MACDONALD, of Regina, is charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344 (1)(B)].
Further investigation into this matter led to the arrest of the second suspect, a 25 year-old male, on November 9, 2024.
Twenty-five year-old Matthew LERAT-POLSON, of Regina, is charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344 (1)(B)]; and
- Kidnapping [CC 279 (1)(A)].
MACDONALD and LERAT-POLSON made their first appearance in Provincial Court yesterday, Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.
