On Saturday, February 10, 2024, at approximately 1:40 a.m., the owner of a 2010 Ford Edge reported her vehicle was just stolen from the Hillsdale neighbourhood. Within 20 minutes of the vehicle being reported stolen, members of the Regina Police Service located the vehicle parking on Ottawa Street near Victoria Avenue. A lone male occupant, exited the vehicle and began walking away. Police officers approached the male, identified themselves and told him he was under arrest. The male fled on foot and after a short foot chase was taken into custody without incident.
Twenty year-old Bryce MARSHALSAY, of Regina is charged with:
- Theft of Motor Vehicle [CC 333.1(1)]
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 [CC 355 (a)]
- Breach of Release Order [CC 145(5)(a)]
- Resist Arrest [CC 129(a)]
MARSHALSAY will appear in Regina Provincial Court on these charges on March 28, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.
