On Saturday, February 17, 2024, at approximately 8:30 a.m., members of the Regina Police Service conducted a traffic stop on a confirmed stolen vehicle in the 1100 block of Rae Street. Three occupants in the vehicle were arrested and taken into custody without incident. Upon searching the vehicle and its contents, police located quantities of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine along with a loaded .22 caliber rifle. After the investigation, two of the occupants were released without charges.
Twenty year-old Tylena Lynn FAVEL, is charged with:
- Possession of stolen property over $5000.00 [S. 355(a) C.C]
- Transport of a prohibited firearm [S. 86(1) C.C]
- Unauthorized possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle [ 94 C.C]
- Possession a prohibited firearm with ammunition [ 95(1)(b) C.C]
- Possession of a schedule substance x 2 [S. 4(1) CDSA]
FAVEL will appear in Regina Provincial Court on these charges on February 20th, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.
