The Regina Police Service is investigating an assault that took place on a city transit bus last evening (Thursday, March 9, 2023).
Police were called to the 2100 Block of 11th Avenue shortly before 6:00 p.m., for a report of an assault in progress. The caller stated 10-15 youth were assaulting a female youth on the bus. When officers arrived, the suspects were no longer at the scene. A female victim was located on the bus. She was taken to hospital by EMS for treatment of minor physical injuries.
Police are continuing their investigation into this occurrence.
