A 33 year-old Regina male faces 23 charges, including identity theft and fraud after an arrest late yesterday afternoon.
On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at approximately 5:20 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Saskatchewan Drive for the report of a male wanted on warrants. Security staff recognized a male listed as wanted on the Regina Police Service website “Wanted” webpage that had entered with a female, and reported his presence to police. Police arrived and approached the male and female and asked the male to identify himself. The male provided a false identification. Further investigation confirmed the male to be the wanted male, and police attempted to arrest the male on warrants who then resisted arrest.
