Two people are facing charges in connection with a weapons incident at a Regina residence on Friday, October 8, 2021.
At approximately 12:30 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of 1700 block Montreal Street for the report of two males shooting a firearm at a civilian from the back of a residence.
Police arrived in the area and located two suspects who were arrested and safely taken into custody. A replica Glock-style pellet gun was located in the residence where the males were shooting from and was seized by Police. Both males were charged and no one was hurt from this incident.
Thirty Four year-old Tyler MACDOUGALL, of Regina, is charged with:
- Careless Use of a Firearm [CC 86(1)];
- Possession of a Firearm contrary to prohibition [CC 117.01(1)]; and
- Reckless Discharge of a Firearm [CC 244.2(1)(a)].
Forty Nine year-old Erin ARCHIBALD, of Regina, is charged with:
- Careless Use of a Firearm [CC 86(1)];
- Possession of a Firearm contrary to prohibition [CC 117.01(1)] x2; and
- Reckless Discharge of a Firearm [CC 244.2(1)(a)].
MACDOUGAL and ARCHIBALD made their first appearances on these charges in Provincial Court on October 12, 2021 at 9:30 am.
