Four people from Regina have been arrested and charged as the result of ongoing investigation by the Regina Crime Reduction Team, or CRT. On Sunday, July 25, 2021, as the result of investigation, members of the CRT, assisted by Regina Police Service patrol members, conducted two traffic stops on Highway 11 and within the city of Regina. Four people: a female and three males, were arrested without incident. In the searches of the vehicles, police seized 933 grams of fentanyl, 562 grams of methamphetamine, small amounts of ecstasy and cocaine; a quantity of cash, ammunition, and other items associated to drug trafficking. Further investigation led to several pieces of identification, which did not belong to any of the individuals arrested.
Charged in connection with this case are: 39 year-old Catherine Rose HALL, 44 year-old Leonides Nazareth ALVIOLA, 31 year-old Aldrin John Manalaysay PASCUA, and 31 year-old Gerald DOMONDON, all of Regina. All four are jointly charged with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance (fentanyl) for the Purpose of Trafficking, section 5(2) CDSA;
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance (methamphetamine) for the Purpose of Trafficking, section 5(2) CDSA.
In addition, Gerald DOMONDON is charged with Breach of Undertaking, section 145(4)(a) CC.
In addition, Aldrin PASCUA is charged with:
- Two charges of Possession of a Scheduled Substance (ecstasy and cocaine), section 4(1) CDSA;
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime under $5,000, section 355(b) CC;
- Possession of Identity Documents, section 56.1(1) CC; and
- Breach of Probation, section 733.1(1) CC.
All four accused persons made their first court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 26, 2021.
