Crime Reduction Team
The Crime Reduction Team is a unit within the Regina Police Service that receives funding for resources and operations from the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Corrections, Public Safety and Policing.
The unit has nine Regina Police Service members (two Sergeants and seven Constables).
The Crime Reduction Team works in conjunction with the Street Gang Unit, the Drug Unit and the Street Crimes Unit.
The Focus
The focus of the Crime Reduction Team is to investigate and conduct enforcement on:
Firearm Trafficking and Firearms Offences
Drug Investigation
With a significant focus on methamphetamine and opioidsÂ
