Two males have been arrested and charged in connection with a Break & Enter and Attempted Theft of Auto. The incident happened today (Thursday, April 29th) on Forsyth Crescent in Regina.
Police were dispatched at about 8:06 a.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2021, to Forsyth Crescent in northwest Regina, for a report of a suspicious person. The caller indicated two unknown males were trying to get into her truck and then entered her neighbour’s garage. While police were enroute, additional information came in that the males had left the area southbound and heading towards the railway tracks. One male was described as wearing a fur coat. Police arrived and located two males who matched the description of the suspects. The two were arrested without incident. Police learned that the fur coat belonged to the owner of the garage.
Thirty-five year-old Bradlee Leo James McKAY and 32 year-old Bryant Thayne STARR, of Regina, are jointly charged with Break & Enter and Commit Theft, and Attempted Theft of Motor Vehicle. McKAY is also charged with Possession of Stolen Property, and possession of Break & Enter Tools. Both men were released with conditions and a court date of September 22, 2021.
