An adult male and adult female have been charged in connection with an investigation into a stolen vehicle, which led to discovery of a significant amount of methamphetamine.
On Saturday, March 20, 2021, at about 10:30 p.m., in the 1000 block of Angus Street, police located a BMW, which had been reported stolen. Officers were able to safely stop the vehicle in the area of 3rd Avenue North and Robinson Street. The two occupants of the vehicle were arrested without incident. Searches of the two suspects led to the discovery of two quantities of methamphetamine and other items associated with drug trafficking. The male driver was found to be in breach of conditions. The male was also charged in connection with the possession of the stolen vehicle.
Thirty-four year-old Megan Rochelle SCHUETT, and 42 year-old Jason Alvin URSULAN, both of Regina, are jointly charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine) [5(2) CDSA].
In addition Jason Alvin URSULAN is charged with:
- Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000 [355(a) CC]; and
- Breach of Undertaking [145(4)(a) CC].
URSULAN and SCHUETT made their first court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. today (Monday, March 22, 2021).
