On Friday, March 19, 2021 at approximately 2:50 p.m. police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Broad Street for a Robbery. A male entered a business carrying what was described as a metal bar and demanded money from the staff. The male struck the counter and protective plexiglass with the bar while inside the business. The male took a donation box which contained money and left.
The Regina Police Service located the suspect in close proximity to the business and he was arrested without incident. Twenty nine year old, Michael PASSMORE is charged with the following offences:
- Robbery [CC 344(1) (b)]
- Fail to Comply with a Condition of a Release Order [CC 145 (5) (a)].
PASSMORE will make his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on Monday March 22nd, 2021 at 9:30 a.m.
