On Thursday, March 4, at approximately 10:00 a.m. police were dispatched to a report of a stolen vehicle in progress at the 1500 block of 11th Avenue in Regina. The information received was that a vehicle, stolen by a suspect unknown to the victim, was last seen headed southbound on St John Street. The suspect was described to police as a male with light skin complexion and medium build, wearing a black hoodie.
Police located the victim, a 35 year-old female. Police learned that the victim, while getting into her vehicle, was physically assaulted and pulled from the vehicle. The suspect got into the vehicle and drove away down 11th Avenue, turning south on St John Street. The victim sustained minor injury from the assault.
The vehicle was later located on the 1800 block of Ottawa Street.
