Sisters In Spirit Walk for Healing
Honouring the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and bringing healing to families and community.
START: mâmawêyatitân centre – Multipurpose Room
END: Place of Reflection (RCMP Heritage Centre)
Refreshments provided by RPS, Heritage Centre and Place of Reflection Committee.
All are invited to attend a performance at the Heritage Centre by Brad Bellegarde.
Please arrange your own return transportation.
Hourly Schedule
- 9:30 am - 10:00 am
- Program
- Multi-Purpose Room at the mâmawêyatitân centre
- 10:00 am - 10:45 am
- Walk
- The walk takes about 45 minutes and will go from the mâmawêyatitân centre to the Place of Reflection at the RCMP Heritage Centre.
- 11:00 -
- Ceremony
- A ceremony will be held there which includes a reading of names and laying of roses.
