On Thursday, June 25, 2026, at approximately 9:15 a.m. officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of 11th Avenue for a report that two people had been stabbed.
Police arrived on scene and located two victims, an adult male and adult female. Both were suffering from stab wounds and were transported to hospital by EMS to be treated for, what appeared to be serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect was located a few blocks away and arrested. As a result, 23 year-old Bernice GRANDBOIS is charged with:
- 2 x Assault with a Weapon [CC 267(a)];and
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order [CC 733.1].
GRANDBOIS will make her first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on August 6, 2026.
