Two adult males are facing charges after breaking into a condo complex under construction on College Avenue.
On Sunday, May 17, 2026, the Regina Police Service received a call from an employee at a security monitoring company. The employee stated an alarm was going off at one of the locations they were monitoring in the 1700 block of College Avenue. They had observed two suspects enter the site and climb up scaffolding before entering the building.
Officers arrived on scene and began their search for suspects. Members of the RPS Canine Team assisted in tracking the suspects. A short time later the two suspects were located on a third-floor balcony. They were taken into custody without incident. As a result of this investigation,
Forty-two year-old Darwin BEAR is charged with:
- Break and Enter and Commit [CC 348 (1)(B)].
BEAR will make his first appearance on this charge in Regina Provincial Court on July 6, 2026.
Forty-three year-old Kyland BOWMAN
- Break and Enter and Commit [CC 348 (1)(B)].
BOWMAN made his first appearance on this charge in Regina Provincial Court, today (May 19, 2026).
