The Regina Police Service is investigating a weapons offence that resulted in, what appeared to be, serious injuries to an adult male.
At approximately 1:50 a.m. on April 12, 2026, officers were patrolling in the area of Dewdney Avenue and Argyle Street when they observed an injured adult male on the sidewalk. The male was suffering from multiple lacerations. Officers provided first aid until EMS arrived and transported the male victim to hospital to be treated for, what appeared to be, serious injuries.
Investigators with the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, Forensic Identification Unit and Canine Unit were called in to assist Patrol officers. Shortly after 2:00 a.m., the investigation led police to a residence in the 1400 block of Elphinstone Street where a search warrant was executed. Multiple people were located inside the home.
