A third person has been charged in relation to a homicide that occurred earlier this month.
At approximately 4:30 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2025, police responded to a call for service in the 100 block of College Avenue. Upon arrival, police located a deceased male. Officers secured the area and requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service. An investigation, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, began.
The investigation determined the death to be a homicide.
Twenty year-old Marshall COTE is the third person to be arrested and charged in relation to this investigation. COTE is charged with:
- Second Degree Murder [CC 235(1)].
COTE made his first appearance on this charge in Regina Provincial Court this morning, Monday, October 27, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.
Earlier last week, 22 year-old Toni MOFFATT and 24 year-old Andre SMITH were also charged with:
- Second Degree Murder [CC 235(1)].
MOFFATT and SMITH made their first appearances on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
