UPDATE: Death Investigation Deemed Homicide
A death investigation that began early Saturday morning (November 1, 2025) is now a homicide investigation.
Shortly before 1:00 a.m. on November 1, 2025, police were dispatched to a residence in the 1000 block of 12th Avenue. Upon arrival, police located a 19 year-old male who was the victim of a gunshot wound. EMS declared the male deceased on scene. Officers secured the area and requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crime Unit and the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit.
Investigation has determined the death is a result of homicide. The name of the victim will not be released at the request of the family.
At this time, the investigation is ongoing. This is the tenth homicide in Regina in 2025.
