A third person is facing charges following ongoing investigation into a homicide that occurred in July of 2025.
At approximately 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 14, police responded to a call for service in the 3000 block of 4th Avenue. Upon arrival, they located a deceased male, who was identified as 53 year-old Brando Peji.
Over the weekend, 19 year-old Darcy MANITOPYES was arrested and is now facing charges of:
- Manslaughter [CC 236(B)];
- Forcible Confinement [CC 279(2)]; and
- Fail to Comply with Conditions of a Release Order [CC 245(5)(A)].
MANITOPYES made his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court this morning (Tuesday, August 5, 2025) at 9:30 a.m.
Last week, 48 year-old Terrina PELLETIER was charged with:
- First Degree Murder [CC 235 (1)].
19-year-old Bradley GARDINER is also facing the following charges in relation to this homicide :
- Manslaughter [236 b(1)]; and
- Forcible Confinement [CC 279(2)].
