A death investigation that began on July 25, 2025, has resulted in homicide charges.
At approximately 3:57 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025, police were called to a residence in the 1500 block of Cameron Street for the report of an injured adult female. Police and EMS arrived on scene, where the victim was pronounced deceased shortly after.
Officers secured the area and requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service. The victim is identified as 42-year-old Stephanie Coady.
As a result of this investigation, 39-year-old Lyle TURCOTTE is charged with:
- Second Degree Murder [CC 235(1)].
Thirty-nine-year-old Brandi SCHILE is charged with:
- Accessory After the Fact to Murder [CC 240].
The accused made their first appearance in Regina Provincial Court this morning, Monday, July 28, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.
