On Thursday, June 26, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed westbound in the area of Saskatchewan Drive and Broder Street. Police attempted a traffic stop, and while emergency lights were activated, the driver continued to flee at a high rate of speed.
A short time later, the vehicle was located near Saskatchewan Drive and Lorne Street after it had rear-ended another vehicle. One suspect was located inside the vehicle and was arrested without incident.
As a result of this investigation, 39 year-old Jesse MANULAK is charged with:
- Impaired Operation of a Conveyance by Alcohol or Drugs or a Combination [CT 320.14(1)(A)]; and
- Exceeds 80 MG of Alcohol within Two Hours of Operating Conveyance [CT 320.14(1)(B)];
- Flight from a Peace Officer [CT 320.17];
- Operate Conveyance Dangerous to Public [CT 320.13(1)].
MANULAK will make their first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.
