On Friday, June 13, 2025, police were dispatched to the 5100 block of Primrose Green Drive for the report of a theft in progress. Information received was that a male suspect was stealing parcels from residential properties.
Officers gathered a suspect description and a short time later, located the suspect walking southbound near the 3700 block of Chuka Boulevard. During the arrest, the suspect refused to comply with officers’ commands. To safely take him into custody, a Conducted Energy Weapon was deployed. The suspect sustained minor injuries and was transported to hospital by EMS for treatment.
As a result, 37 year-old Kyle CARON is charged with:
- Theft under $5,000 [CC 334(B)]; and
- Resist Arrest [CC 129(A)].
The accused will make their first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on July 28, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.
