A fourth person is charged with First-Degree Murder in relation to a homicide that occurred on April 24, 2025, in Regina.
At approximately 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025, police and EMS were dispatched to a call for service in the 800 block of Victoria Avenue. Upon arrival, police located an injured adult male. He was declared deceased a short time later.
As a result, a 23 year-old male, a 33 year-old male, and a 16 year-old male were charged.
Continued investigation into this incident led to a 19 year-old female, and a warrant was issued for her arrest. Early this morning, at approximately 5:08 a.m, May 6, 2025, the female was arrested, and charged.
Nineteen year-old Priscilla Irene CYR, of Regina, is charged with:
- First Degree Murder [CC 235(1)]; and
- Fail to Comply with Disposition [YJCA 137].
CYR makes her first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.
In addition, three other individuals have been arrested and charged in connection with this incident.
Twenty-eight year-old Leslie Ann THORNE, of Regina, is charged with:
- Forcible Confinement [CC 279(2)].
Thirty-seven year-old Miranda Kay Jasmine PASQUA, of Regina, is charged with:
- Obstruct Peace Officer [CC 129(A)]; and
- Accessory After the Fact to Murder [CC 240].
Thirty-seven year-old Amanda Rae TWARDY, of Regina, is charged with:
- Accessory After the Fact to Murder [CC 240]; and
- Breach Conditional Sentence Order [741.6(1)].
PASQUA and THORNE first appeared on these charges in Provincial Court on Friday, April 25, 2025. TWARDY made her first appearance on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
