On Monday, May 5, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1400 block of St. John Street for a report of a recently stolen vehicle.
A member of the Regina Police Service Canine Unit spotted the suspect vehicle nearby. The Aerial Support Unit maintained continuous observation as the vehicle was driven dangerously through city streets. Police successfully deployed a tire deflation device, and the vehicle was abandoned near Victoria Avenue and Elphinstone Street. Patrol officers ordered the driver to stop, but he fled. Officers followed and were able to apprehend and arrest him.
The suspect was identified and found to be in breach of existing conditions.
Twenty-nine year-old Zachery Peter GRAHAM, of Regina, is charged with:
- Fail to Comply With Condition of Undertaking [CC 145(4)(A)];
- Theft of Motor Vehicle [CC 333.1(1)];
- Resist Arrest [CC 129(1)];
- Dangerous Drive [CC 320.13(1)]; and
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 [CC 355(A)].
GRAHAM made his first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
