A third person, a 16 year-old youth, is charged with First-Degree Murder in relation to a homicide that occurred on April 24, 2025, in Regina.
At approximately 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025, police and EMS were dispatched to a call for service in the 800 block of Victoria Avenue. Upon arrival, police located an injured adult male. He was declared deceased a short time later. As a result, a 23 year-old male and a 33 year-old male were charged.
Last night (April 30, 2025) a 16 year-old male was also charged.
The youth, who cannot be named in keeping with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with:
- First Degree Murder [CC 235(1)]; and
- Fail to Comply with Disposition [YJCA 137].
The youth makes his first appearance on these charges in Provincial Youth Court this morning (Thursday May 1, 2025) at 9:30 a.m.
