A 38 year-old male is facing charges following a traffic stop early this morning.
Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, April 15, officers performed a traffic stop on a vehicle travelling in the 600 block of Retallack Street.
When officers approached the vehicle, they observed five people inside. Subsequent investigation led to the discovery a loaded handgun inside the vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, 38 year-old Aaron Allan PARISIAN is charged with:
- Carrying a Concealed Weapon [CC 90];
- Careless Storage of a Firearm [CC 86(2)];
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm [CC 94(1)];
- Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition [CC 95(1)(A)];
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition in a Vehicle [CC 94(1)];
- 2 x Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order [CC 117.01(1)];
- Resist Arrest [CC 129(A)].
PARISIAN made his first appearance on these charges today, Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in Regina Provincial Court.
