Two individuals are facing multiple charges following two separate incidents involving, what appeared to be, a firearm at a downtown Regina business.
The first incident took place on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Police were called to the business in the 2100 block of 11th Avenue shortly before 10:00 p.m. after an employee of the business witnessed two suspects in the building after closing time. One was carrying what was believed to a firearm. Members of the RPS Tactical Support Unit, Patrol officers and members of the Canine Unit responded. A short time later a suspect was located and arrested. During the arrest, the Police Service Dog made contact with the suspect, biting them. They were treated for minor injuries.
On Friday, January 17, 2025 at approximately 5:50 p.m., police were once again called to the same address for a report that a female suspect had pointed, what appeared to be, a firearm at a security guard after being escorted outside of the business. Officers located the female suspect walking in the 1700 Block of Rose Street a short time later and she was arrested. Officers determined the suspect was also involved in the firearms incident the day prior at this same address. Further investigation led to the discovery of the pellet gun used in the incidents.
As a result, 25 year-old Justine LITTLETENT is charged with:
- 2 x Break and Enter with Intent [CC 348(1)(A)].
- Assault with a Weapon [CC 267(A)];
