Charges have been laid in connection to a dog attack, which occurred in August of 2024.
On Monday, August 19, 2024, at approximately 9:00 a.m., police were dispatched to the area of 3rd Avenue and Cameron Street to investigate a dog attack. Information received was that an adult female was walking her dogs when she was chased by two other dogs and attacked. As a result, the victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Through investigation, police were able to locate the owner of the dogs, which were seized as a result of the incident.
As a result of this investigation, 47 year-old Gerald POCHA, of Regina is charged with:
- Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm [CC 221].
The accused will make their first appearance on this charge in Provincial Court on January 3, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.
