On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at approximately 12:20 p.m., police were dispatched to a robbery in progress on the 0 block of Albert Street. Information received was that the victim had been assaulted by a group of individuals.
Police arrived and were given a suspect description of a male who had fled the scene. A short time later, police located the suspects matching the description, who were arrested without incident.
As a result, 35 year-old Aubrey NANAQUEWETUNG and 38 year-old Seanna NAHNEPOWISK, were arrested and charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)].
NANAQUEWETUNG and NAHNEPOWISK made their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court this morning, Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.
