On Sunday, July 28, 2024, police located a vehicle, which was confirmed to be stolen, on the 200 block of Wascana Street. At approximately 2:30 a.m., officers observed two occupants get inside the vehicle and drive away. A tire deflation device was deployed on the vehicle but it continued to travel westbound at a slow rate of speed before the occupants parked the vehicle on Ellison Crescent and fled on foot.
A short time later, members of the Canine Unit tracked the suspects who were taken into custody without incident.
As a result of this investigation, 25 year-old Latrell PARVIER and 26 year-old Kendra WYNTONYK of Regina are jointly charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000 [CC 355(A)]
PARVIER is also charged with:
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order [CC 733.1(1)]
The accused will make their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 9:30 a.
