On Thursday, August 8, 2024, at approximately 4:30 a.m., police were dispatched to the 5000 block of Sherwood Drive for the report of a robbery in progress. Information received was that the victim had been assaulted by a male and had items stolen.
Police located the victim who had minor injuries and were given a suspect description of a male who had fled the scene. Later that evening, police located the male matching the description in the area of Nagel Crescent.
As a result, 24 year-old Nicholas BENDER was arrested and charged for the following:
- Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)]
The accused will make their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court this morning, Friday, August 9, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.
