On Saturday, July 27, 2024, at approximately 4:45 p.m., police were dispatched to a residence in the 1100 block of Rae Street for the report of a break and enter followed by a weapons offence. Information received was that a female had been threatened and assaulted by two males before they fled the scene.
Police arrived and spoke the victim, who had minor injuries, and provided a suspect description.
In the early hours of July 28, 2024, police were able to locate and arrest both suspects without incident in the 1100 block of Angus Street.
As a result of this investigation, 23 year-old Maddison BLUEEYES of Regina is charged with:
- Break and Enter [CC 348(1)(B)];
- Pointing a Firearm [CC 87]; and
- Assault with a Weapon [CC 267(A)]; and
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order [CC 733.1(1)]
A 15 year-old youth, who cannot be named in keeping with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is also charged with:
- Break and Enter [CC 348(1)(B)];
- Assault with a weapon [CC 267(A)]
BLUEEYES and the youth made their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court and Provincial Youth Court this morning, Monday, July 27, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.
