On the evening of Saturday, July 27, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Broadway Avenue for the report of a weapons offence. Information provided was that a female had been assaulted and injured by what appeared to be a knife, and that the assailant had fled the scene.
Police arrived and located one injured person, whose injuries were consistent with assault by a knife. EMS attended and provided medical aid to the victim.
A short time later, the suspect was located and arrested without incident.
Twenty-one year old Gina BALL is charged with:
- Adult Aggravated Assault [CC 268 (1)]
BALL made her first appearance on the charge this morning, July 29, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.
