A male has been charged following a motor vehicle incident that resulted in injury to a pedestrian. On Thursday afternoon, June 6, 2024, at around 12:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a motor vehicle incident at the intersection of 10th Avenue and Park Street. According to information received, a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, police and EMS provided assistance to the victim, identified as an adult female, who was then transported to the hospital with significant but non-life-threatening injuries. Initial investigations at the scene indicated that the victim had been struck by a truck, which had left the scene.
At approximately 7:55 p.m., police located the suspected vehicle parked at Cooksley Bay and subsequently arrested a 37-year-old male.
Thirty-seven year-old Joseph NEUSTAETER, of Moose Jaw, is charged with:

NUESTAETER makes his first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on July 15, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.
