Update: Suspect Located and Arrested
The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that could assist in investigation of a motor vehicle / pedestrian collision that occurred earlier this afternoon.
On the afternoon of Thursday, June 6, 2024, police were dispatched to 10th Avenue and Park Street at approximately 12:30 p.m. for the report of a motor vehicle incident. Information received was that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
Police and EMS arrived and attended to the victim, an adult female, who was transported to hospital with injuries appearing non-life-threatening. Preliminary investigation at the scene indicated that the victim was struck by a silver truck, which then fled the scene northbound on Park Street.
Police are looking for eye-witnesses, security camera footage, or those that were in the area that may have dashboard camera footage.
