On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at approximately 5:50 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of 11th Avenue and Hamilton Street for a report of a weapons related offense involving a firearm. Information received was that a male and a female were seen with what appeared to be a firearm.
Police arrived on scene and located two suspects walking down 12th Avenue. A brief foot pursuit took place before both suspects were arrested without further incident. Upon arrest, a BB gun was located by officers.
Twenty-Two year-old Alijah DUBOIS, of Regina, is charged with:
- Pointing a Firearm [CC 87(1)]; and
- Breach of Probation Order [CC 733.1(1)];
- Fail to Comply [CC 145(4)(A)].
Twenty-Two year-old Lacee Rose WALLACE of Regina, is charged with:
- Carrying Concealed Weapon [CC 90]
DUBOIS and WALLACE will make their first appearance on these charges on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.
